Cancellation between 30 and 0 days: 100% of the rental price is due.
In the event of cancellation by the client, regardless of the reason, the chalet will be re-let and the deposit will be retained. However, if the chalet is re-let at the same rate, the deposit will be refunded less a €50 cancellation fee. Any discount offered to the new tenant will also be deducted from the refund.
In the event of a persistent dispute and failing an agreement with the owner, any dispute will be subject to French law and jurisdiction will be given to the courts of the place where the accommodation is located.
RENT AND DEPOSIT
The amount includes:
In addition to providing the chalet for the specified number of people and periods, heating, water, and electricity are included. The chalet is furnished and includes duvets, blankets, pillows, dishes, and kitchen equipment.
The amount does not include:
The provision of bed linen (possibility to rent them on site) and household linen, the security deposit and the tourist tax.
The balance is payable no later than upon arrival during the initial meeting with the owner. No refund will be given for any reduction in the length of stay compared to the booking agreement.
Any security deposit requested by the owner is payable at the first meeting. It is intended to cover cleaning costs should the apartment not be returned in satisfactory condition. It also serves to reimburse any damage or breakage that may have occurred during the stay. If the deposit is insufficient to cover repairs, the owner reserves the right to request additional payment upon presentation of an invoice. Conversely, if the repair costs are less than the initial deposit, the remaining balance will be returned to the tenant.
It is the tenant's responsibility to provide any observations regarding the condition of the property during the initial inspection or at the latest within 24 hours of arrival. If no damage is found upon the tenant's departure, the security deposit will be returned within a maximum of 8 days of departure.
ACCOMMODATION CAPACITY
The chalet is designed for a specific occupancy that includes even very young children. Unless prior agreement has been made, the owner reserves the right to refuse rental to any additional person, even temporarily, or to charge a supplement equal to 10% of the initial rental price per person.
PROVISION OF ACCOMMODATION
It takes effect from 4 PM on the day of arrival until 10 AM on the day of departure. Outside these hours, unless prior agreement has been made with the owner, the tenant cannot claim to occupy the accommodation.
HOUSING REFURBISHMENT
Cleaning is not included in the rental price and remains the tenant's responsibility. The tenant must clean the accommodation before departure or pay a qualified cleaner to do so.
ANIMALS
Pets are welcome, provided they do not cause damage or disturb the peace of the neighbors. They can be left alone in the accommodation if they are used to it.
